Are you sure it's not Saturday?

Ever wake up and realize that the last thing you want to do is the only thing you have to do today? I so did not want to go to work today. Yet, here I am. I think if I would've batted my eyes a little more, I could've gotten Kyle to call in sick for me. But, he was not sympathetic. So, to cheer up, I thought maybe a little blog session was in order.

Last night I played raquetball with my workout buddy, Tasha. We are finally starting to not suck bad. We only kind of suck. But, the ab workout from laughing is probably a better workout than we get playing.

We also had our Growth Group (aka Bible Study) last night. We're going through Genesis and got through Chapter 2 last night. It was very interesting. Our teacher went to Bible school, so he has all these great insights on why the Bible is written like it is. For example, did you know that the 2nd chapter of Genesis is actually a form of Hebrew poetry? I didn't. Which explains why it basically repeats everything in Chapter 1, but with a little more detail. And it's not a chronological account, which I thought was very interesting. I really enjoy learning this type of stuff. It's good to do an in-depth study on a book that you try to base your life on.

gina- i love wyoming. it has been a lot of fun. we live about an hour away from the bighorns, so in the summer we do a lot of camping, hiking, mtn biking, drives throught the mountians, etc. my only complaint: it's ALWAYS windy. always.
