i heart the library.

Libraries have only gotten better with time. Last night I finished a book, Roses Are Red by James Patterson, only to find out that the killer was still on the loose. I actually love "to be continued" books. (If anyone ever wants to talk about these books, I'd love to.) So, I figured I'd run to the library and get the next in the series.

First, because of the marvels of technology, I was able to check (via the internet) if the book was even there. It sure was, there were 4 copies available. Apparently this book once was in high demand. I could also check for another book I had been waiting to read, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. It was not in, but I could put it on hold. I love the internet.

I drove to the library, got my book and a couple other James Patterson titles. Our library also has an art exhibit that is changed monthly. This month, the high schoolers had some of their art displayed. Most of it was really good. There was a wide variety of art: purses, pottery, paitings, photoshop art, etc.

I ended up hanging out there until it closed. There's nothing quite like the library.

I love libraries too! Sounds like you have a great one. Why do I know they name Sylvia Plath?

She was an author in the 1950-60's that committed suicide. She was married to Ted Hughes.

There was a movie that came out about her recently, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, called Sylvia.

There's also a song by Ryan Adams called Sylvia Plath.

Does that help?

I really heart the library. Although as you probably read on my blog, I have a hard time bringing things back. I don't hear the law library, though, just the public library.

..I mean, I don't HEART (not hear) the law library. Although, I don't hear it either. Usually.

I've never been in one before so I wouldn't know if I heart it or not, sorry.
